Data-Driven Surveys (DDS) is a platform that enables survey designers to create data-driven surveys. A data-driven survey is a survey that uses respondents' data from various online platforms (e.g., Fitbit, Instagram, Github, Google Contacts, etc.) for survey customization, personalization, pre-answering, and background information collection.
DDS supports the following data providers:
Fitbit
Github
GoogleContacts
To provide a customized survey experience, DDS may request access to your data from the following platforms (the platforms requested vary for each survey):
Fitbit: Your fitness activity and health data (average steps, weekly active minutes, etc.) to tailor survey questions related to health and wellness.
Instagram: Your Instagram activity (number of posts made, etc.) enables customizing surveys for instagram users. For example, by avoiding having to ask about basic information about your social media profiles.
Github: Information from your Github profile (number of starred repositories, etc.) allows us to customize surveys for developers or tech professionals.
GoogleContacts: Your Google Contacts data allows calculating various statistics related to how you use Google Contacts. For example, the total number of contacts you have and how many of your contacts have a phone number.
We use this data to enhance the relevance and personalization of the surveys, ensuring that the questions you receive are more meaningful and tailored to you. We never share your data with third parties, and you maintain full control over which data you choose to share.
Here is a summary of how DDS uses your data:
Your privacy is our priority. DDS only collects the minimum amount of data necessary to personalize your survey experience. We use encryption to protect your data during transmission, and your data is deleted immediately after processing. Your data is never shared with third parties, and you can revoke access at any time. If you do not revoke access yourself, DDS will revoke access automatically after calculating all the required variables.
